In the last year, I've had exactly 2 haircuts, because of the pandemic. I have a lot of hair and it grows fast; I look like a sheepdog right now. I'll be getting a trim in a few days and I'm so glad; it's all I can do not to grab a razor and shave my head.

Anyone else deprived of haircuts, etc., because of the pandemic?

@GoneButNotForgotten   I have had 2 haircuts and going for a third the first week in March.  Have you ever thought of going a little shorter since your hair grows so fast?

yes, I'm definitely going to try to get a shorter version of what I have now. I  hate to have to go every 6 weeks but if I want to look like a person and not like a dog, that's what I'm going to have to do.

Right now the weather is keeping me from going to Supercuts.  3 degrees and snow.

I learned how to cut my own hair. It's not perfect by no means but it will do for now.

@GoneButNotForgotten.  Sounds like you need more than a trim.  My hair is similar to yours and it gets cut a lot every 6 weeks, come hell or high water.  When I get out of the chair, there's a whole head of hair on the floor.

I began going back to the salon when they opened in my area in mid-May.  I have been going on a regular basis since then for cuts and color.

@GoneButNotForgotten

Thankfully, I have long hair (usually bra strap or a little less), all one length and when it recently had become waist length, I did the bravest thing I've ever done.......

I LET DH CUT MY HAIR!!!

But it turned out fine, so I'm happy,  I survived and so did he, LOL!
