Stevie, your post was good but I find it interesting since you think Lisa hung the moon. Lisa is OK.

They are all salespeople and will say what they need to say to sell a product.

I did get a kick out of Colleen the other night selling the YBF brow pencil during host pick. They were selling one for $10.00, free s/h and on 2 flexpays of $5.00. Colleen and Stacy were both giddy with excitement over the flexpay and then Colleen actually said that she thought it was a mistake but because they put it on the screen, they have to honor it.

Do people really fall for that? I think we all know that is not the case. If there is a pricing mistake of some kind, they can and have changed the graphic to increase a price, take away flexpays, add flexpays, whatever. It drives me nuts to hear hosts carrying on about wrong pricing, too many flexpays, etc. That is a sales tactic.

As an aside, when Suzanne R. went to HSN, she was initially hired as a crafting expert and the only shows she did were craft/scrapbooking shows. Then she became a fulltime host.

HSN hosts used to do that "it must be a mistake bit" all the time. I thought they'd given up on that one.{#emotions_dlg.blink}

It's always a victory for me when I remember why I entered a room.
