Mousse!

hi ladies! [: i was wondering, i'm somewhere in the 2A and 2B range on the naturallycurly website and wanted to know if the mousse would work well for this hair type? i can get a curl if i scrunch with curling products, but i can also get more of a wave if i twirl and twist into little buns on my head. i also need a way to get my waves closer to my crown, so im a little lost on how to do that and what to use, VTM? FC? help please? haha.
