It just occurred to me that it's odd that we don't have a mousse in all the core scents yet (still just POM, SAM and LAV), but now we have 613 and seasonal mousse. I wonder if it's because those are the most popular scents (for scent purposes, not functionality) and the core mousses only differ by scent. I guess it wouldn't make sense to have a styling product that smelled like TT if it didn't impart any of the benefits of TT oil. Still, Fig and CA are good smells in their own right. It just made me curious.

Do you think each new seasonal will continue to have a matching mousse?

Do you think the rest of the core scents will get a matching mousse?

There's a TT SC and Remoist, and they don't have any special TT benefits.

HB: thanks! It amused me too {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

sailor moon: Could be...

Hilary: Hmmmm, I wonder if Q will sell the products individually like Chaz does on his site?

Nicole: You could be right. I couldn't remember if I'd ever seen that confirmed "officially" or if people were just speculating that since he was doing it for SHP, he would do it for later seasonals.

KJ: Good luck, I hope those of you who love it can get it back!

Wenderful: That's a really good point. Thanks Smile

naleiarenee: Glad you're loving it!

Nicole, from what Chaz said, that was my understanding as well. I think he's being a little vague about what he's been saying, probably because the Q initially seemed to want to hold back these new Seasonal offerings. But since the SHP SC/mousse Duo sold out so quickly, I think the Q is probably on board now. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

WenGirl42, I've also been puzzled as to why the newer products aren't available in all of the core scents. So after I read your thread, I took a look through the Wen product listings and I think I figured out why this is happening.

From what I can see, once Chaz had created his fourth scent (LAV), it just became too unwieldy to include all the new scents in all of the styling products.

I think the VTS was the first styling product to only be available in a single scent (LAV). At the time the, the LAV VTS was offered in a special LAV styling kit (I debated purchasing that kit for a very long time).

Around the time Chaz was creating the POM CC, I think he was becoming more aware of the allergic reactions that people were having to wheat/gluten as well as nuts. So the POM CC became soy-based (but not nut-free). And some of the POM styling products were developed to be nut-free options (please call Chaz Dean Salon customer information: 323-467-6444 to confirm which POM products are nut-free).

Once his POM nut-free styling products became available, I think he started focusing on SAM (created first & most "universal) and POM options for his various Wen kits as well as his newer styling products.

If a newer styling product becomes really popular, I think a LAV styling product is sometimes added to the SAM & POM options later on because the LAV scent is so well liked. And the LAV mouse is a good example of this.

Of course, these are just my thoughts on thisSmiley Happy

But now we are getting a newer product (mousse) in the newer scents (613 & SHP), and before it's available in all core scents. They're "amped up" versions too though, with new ingredients and such.

Add me to those wishing for a Tea Tree mousse! I love the TT styling cream and would really like a mousse to go with it. The scent of the SC is very pleasant, nice and "green", not nearly as strong as the TT CC (which I love, just don't want to smell like it all day). I think TT styling products would be nice and subtle; would not interfere with whatever fragrance I was wearing.

Well, I feel the 613 mousse and the peach mousse are tops. Chaz says he always listens to what people want, now this may mean "the masses or majority".

Check this out...I used 613 cleansing conditioner on my face as a mask and it felt like I had my face in a bowl of ice cubes but what results. My face was like a baby's, soft and supple. My skin is not too shabby but this was really nice. The "cold" feeling took around 20 minutes to go down and it dried on my face. I scrubbed it in the shower with the body cleanser and then scrubbed a good rinse. Did you guys every do that? What things did you guys try?

I've done a 613 cc mask several times - same results as you - soft, even tone - love it. I cleansed it off with either more 613 cc or BGT. I tried the 613 sc as a mask but didn't get the same results.
