Re: More NIRA stuff to discuss.

I'm just past the 4-week mark of using my NIRA. Been using it on the highest setting this whole time.

Today I noticed that one of my 10 upper-vertical lip lines has disappeared. Now I can see only 9 of them. Am I excited about that? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!!Woman Very Happy

The rest of the lines have softened quite a bit, too.

What about you guys? Anything to report?

Re: More NIRA stuff to discuss.

I have some pretty deep marionette and nasolabial lines and they aren't gone (sigh) but are definitely softer!!  Same thing around my eyes.  To me that is huge and I am sold on the NIRA.  I have used daily since purchasing as the GMA special and it has only needed one re-charge and that was this past weekend.  I use it all over my face on specific lines and wrinkles and on  dark spot at the base of my neck.  That spot is a lot lighter too.  I still have expression lines and wrinkles, only botx will address those if I still want to go there......

Eyelids...

Been treating my eyelids, yes my lids (!), for three days now. Still got my eyes and they seem to be fine. Just thought I'd get that out here in case anyone one was thinking about it.

Re: More NIRA stuff to discuss.

Just reading about NIRA here I think for the first time.  Is this what you guys are using?

NIRA Anti-Aging Precision Laser (20% OFF)

@SilleeMee if you don't mind my question, where are treating your lids?  Have you noticed a difference?  Just wondering.  I feel I have too much skin just under the eyebrow (some droop), and, more recently, underneath my eyes (lower eyefold per picture below) becoming hallow.  I had darkening there (allergies), but now looks worse.  No bags under my eyes, have never had them.  Hoping hallowing just lack of sleep, but concerned may be a new permanent feature.  Too much stress in my life these days.  I should start a relax and meditation thread!

Anyway, a picture of an eye in case it helps with the answer.

I tried a laser several years ago (a Tria from QVC) and it stung and was too harsh on my face.  I tried in the nasolabial area, but the area looked red and bruised and it hurt, so I abandoned the thing.  Don't recall if I returned or just got rid of it.

I wished I had tried PaloVia, which you seem to like.  I wonder if a used one would be any good, they are available for sale.  Maybe people are selling because theirs didn't work well.  I have never purchased anything like that used, and these type of items I like to buy from someone who is accountable.  Maybe others have an opinion on this.

TIA!

@NYCLatinaMe

I'm treating my entire upper lid from just above the lash line to just under my brows. I'm also treating the entire under-eye areas from just below the lash line to beyond the periorbital areas. I've only been doing those areas for less than a week so it's too soon to see anything different yet.

Good luck in finding a Palovia laser. They've been out of business for a number of years. I stalked eBay for months on end until I found 4 of them altogether. That took months of searching. I just saw one go up for auction last week and it sold for nearly $300.

@NYCLatinaMe

There's a used Palovia laser up for sale on eBay right now. 215+sh

That's a really good price. I would snag it but I'm waiting for the NIRA Pro.

@SilleeMee Wow on the Palovia!  I searched a while back when I read you mentioned you used the Palovia around your eyes and were happy with it.  I saw several for sale then, but honestly, did not look at the prices or explore it further.

Are you saying you bought additional Palovias on ebay and they turned out OK?

Are you now using NIRA instead of Palovia around the eyes, or are you using both?

I think you also used the Tria.  Were you happy with it?  How did it compare to the NIRA?

Thanks for sharing!

@NYCLatinaMe

I'm using the NIRA, Tria and RLT mask daily. I only use the Palovia once a week around my eyes only.

The thing about the Palovia is that you get only 25 spot treatments per charge and then there's an 8-hour timer before you can use it again. That's why I own 4 of them. One is on the brink and it won't stay on so now I have 3 working Palovias. The treatments give very good results, especially under the eyes. Palovia treatments are intense and will leave you red. They are highly effective so you don't want to use it daily.

The Tria has kept my neck and dec smooth and firm. I just started using it on my face again and it makes my face glow.

Re: More NIRA stuff to discuss.

Thanks @SilleeMee!

I was hoping for a comparison of how the treatment feels (Tria, Nira, Palovia) because of my Tria experience.  I assumed you are happy with the Tria and Palovia results because you have been using for years.

Did you have any pain or skin burning with Tria at first?  With Nira?  With Palovia?

TIA!
