Years ago I attended several lectures by a doctor. Besides being a strong advocate for vitamins & minerals, since he was an MD (also a vet), his deal was to compare supplementation w/ the health industry.
He was in his mid 60's, but he had the darkest head of natural colored hair! Yes, it was natural!
I also remember his admonition to drink green tea -- several cups a day.
As a tea connoisseur, I didn't know how I could manage several cups of green tea. My favorites were blacks, whites and reds.
Just recently I started drinking more green tea -- averaging 2 cups per day.
Well, this week I had planned to color my roots, as they were beginning to show new growth. But as each day goes by, I keep seeing that it really isn't necessary yet. In fact, it seems that my root growth color is actually getting darker!
I've been on this Reverse Root Quest for several years now, and I am wondering if I stumbled onto something.
Anybody have any thoughts? I'm trying to research this, and this is what I found so far:
"Grey hair is also prevented by consuming green tea. Regular intake will definitely make your hair healthy and grey free hair."
