I like Paula's Choice Resist Super Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30. It's zinc-based, has a very slight tint that pretty much disappears but eliminates any white cast, and has some good skincare ingredients.

There are several other SPF moisturizers in the line, but this is the one I prefer. You can always and ask for them to send you some free samples of any that might interest you.

Never any fragrance or irritants and cruelty-free.

I've been using Serious Skincare Vitamin A SPF 30 Moisturizer (A Defiance 4 Million IU A Cream XR SPF 30) and really like it.

I've tried many of these but always go back to Clinique Super City Block SPF 40. It's oil free but definitely moisturizing and I apply foundation immediately after with no "balling up" problem. I'm very fair, burn easily and it definitely protects my skin. All in all a winner.

Another vote for Josie Maran SPF 47 Daily Moisturizer. Great for dry skin.

Do you want chemical or physical SPF? As others have posted Paula's Choice has several nice options and there are chemical and physical options. I really like her Resist SPF 25 antioxidant moisturizer. I've been using one from Juice Beauty that I like, too. It's an SPF 30. Both are physical sunscreens.

Oh, CeraVe has a new SPF50 for face that is also physical. My DD and I used it at the beach last week. No breakouts or burns for either of us. She is a teen prone to breakouts and I'm not.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}
