My eyelashes are like yours - straight and they stick out at an angle where they are not visible. I've been curling them with an eyelash curler since the age of 16. And yes, they will promptly uncurl - UNLESS - you use waterproof mascara.

Years ago, it wasn't a problem because all mascaras left your eyelashes stiff (and the curl stayed). But then there was a shift to mascaras that left your lashes soft, and mine uncurled every time. I confess I know nothing about eyelash perms, but an eyelash curler followed by a waterproof mascara does the job for me.

High school, black tie, night out, work, grocery store, family reunion, whatever:

A few swipes or dots of concealer or foundation

Single color on eye lid.

Mascara

Eyebrow pencil

Occasionally add:

Lip gloss or stick

Very fine line along eyelashes, top lid, never bottom

Maybe a dustof blush or bronzer if night or artificial lighting.

Often a sweep of matte powder for oily shiny skin of mine

I use foundation, blush, eye brow pencil and eyeliner. Also a light lipstick.

I put this on everyday regardless of my day.
