Do you still use a mineral powder foundation? Most of the time I use a tinted sunscreen but still have some mineral powders I occasionaly use. I have not used Bare Minerals for a very long time but I do like the Jane Iredale compact foundation. Laura Geller foundation is OK too but I think I prefer Jane Iredale. I like to use a mineral powder foundation when I just want something very fast to apply.
Anyone have any favorite mineral powder foundations?

for me, BareMinerals was always a good choice. There's a creaminess to it.Great coverage. At my age now I dont know if it would look good-my face has some uneven texture and lines. Might try it again. I use Estee Lauder and Lancome compacts for quick makeup. I think they look ok on me. As for Laura Geller, many times I've tried. No real coverage and looks dry. Jane Iredale is a big step up. Much nicer product. You will get many opinions. Looking forward to reading them.

When I wear it I like PUR Minerals 4-in-1 pressed mineral foundation. I like it b/c it has skincare ingredients which moisturize. It also plays well with my sunscreen.

@naturalfan I like Jane Iredale too...I wear Amber in the Pressed. It's nice to be able to get refills for the compact.

If you are referring to Geller Balance and Brighten, I dont think that is really a mineral foundation, since it is talc based, usually what are considered mineral foundations are more natural and are often talc free.

Talc is a type of naturally occurring mineral and it is used in various brands of mineral makeup foundations.

I just read an article that said most higher end mineral, more natural foundations avoid talc, making them much more desireable, I know talc is a mineral, but most mineral foundations are thought of not to include it. Most of us looking for a higher end quality are not looking for talc. I dont think Geller ever touts hers as a mineral foundation, just a baked one.I know Doll 10 always avoids it, Doris says it makes you look very dry.

The two powders I have tried are Bare Minerals and Laura Geller. Of the two I prefer the Bare Minerals it has a slight luminosity to it where LG is more matte and a little warm in color.
I have not tried the Jane Iredale powder that has been mentioned......curious to why you like it?
