I already have the NuFace from their last TSV.
It's fine, working properly, etc.
But, I really don't like using it. No, it doesn't hurt or bother me unless the gel isn't enough or dries out. Then you feel an unpleasant sensation for sure.
I don't like the use of the gel because it is another step of getting it off that I don't need in already dry skin. I have to use some "force" to get it off. I use a wet paper towel (that I use during the "treatment") to remove the more stubborn gel.
Obviously, no one likes to have to continue to buy gel, but I knew that.
I see that StriVectin has a different type of device, more similar to the Serious Skin care egg thing. But this one is able to stay in place on your face, leaving you free to do whatever else you want with a headphone style.
Sooooooo, I don't know if anyone has any advice on how effective one type of device is vs the other. Price wise, the StriVectin one is $179.
Thanks much.

Microcurrent device - the strivectin one is very good and easier to stick to. I have the nuface with all the attachments too. Both devices do the job but I prefer the strivectin because you use gel pads, no gooey gel.

What's funny is that I feel like the NuFace psychologically might work better because you actually DO SOMETHING. You have to glide it along your face, so you feel like YOU are actually doing something.
Watching the Strivectin demo, you just place it on your face and DO NOTHING!
So, it seems like it CANNOT be as effective as the NuFace.
Nuts, I know!
