I saw your post about the “creepy” remark, but didn’t want to respond there. I did want to say thank you though. I found your words comforting. I respect your opinions and find you are the voice of reason on many topics. Doesn’t take much to get me down. I grew up listening to the daily belittling comments of my mother. There were six children in our family, me being the second oldest and first daughter. I was the only one she treated this way. For some reason, she just didn’t like me. To this day I still don’t know why. It’s taken me nearly all my life to learn to speak up for myself, yet I still find it stings being called a name (even silly ones). People can be really nasty to others.
