Menthol bothersome?

I have purchased and used WEN for approx. 6 months. I loved my hair using it, however the Menthol in the cleansing conditioner is hard to tolerate. I have since stopped using it due to the menthol and went back to the DEVACURL line. Maybe my hair color won't last as long, but I could not tolerate the menthol any longer. Anyone else have problems with it?
