Melting down a candle to use as base for solid perfume, would this work+++

I bought a lotion from the Naked Bee company while on vacation. It is an orange blossom honey scent that is just heavenly. They do not make a perfume or body spray of this, so I saw that they do sell a candle that is soy and beeswax based-no petroleum or pariffin.

Most solid perfumes are made from beeswax so if I melted down the candle and added a little bit of jojoba oil then put it back in a container would it *essentially * function like a solid perfume?

Weird I know, but I just love this scent.

Thanks
