For the most part there's nothing wrong or bad about using talc. It's just, for me anyways, that it can be very drying on the skin so I avoid it.

And yet this Maybelline Fit Me Powder doesn't seem to be drying on my skin.

I can't tell you how many foundations I have tried, wasted so much money on high end, low end, drugstore brands, off brands, just everything, and have been so disgusted.  I love Estee Lauder lipsticks and tried her liquid foundation, just wasn't for me.

I do like Laura Geller's baked foundation, and this Maybelline powder.

In fact I like Maybelline the best, unbelievably.

one of the best things about the forums, is getting new ideas and recs for products. Your review is appreciated. Personally I use a mix of higher end, mid range, and drugstore beauty. This particular powder sounds lovely

I agree, I so appreciate hearing the experiences of others, and about new products.

I have that powder in my stash, will have to revisit it.  I have 2 shades and wasn't quite loving either one.  I'm a light/medium slightly warm toned. 128 Warm Nude isn't bad but a touch too light.  220 Natural Beige is a bit too dark or muddy looking.  .

I'm a big believer in drugstore products after trying so many high end ones that were not worth the hype or price. Am currently enjoying Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator in Light Medium.  Available at mass merchants for $5-$6.

Thanks to the OP for reminding me of the Maybelline powder.

@Ronettes ive been using the Maybelline FIT powder for years. I use it as my finishing powder on top of CoverGirl Simply Ageless ( formerly called Age Defying) creme makeup  with Oil of Olay.

I love it.

Thanks for the heads up on eyeliner!

@PinkyPetunia - Off topic, but I just named our newest kitten 'Petunia'!

She survived a wild pack of dogs attacking in the middle of the night, and I couldn't bear to part with her.

It's awesome when you find something like this No7 used to have an awesome pressed powder that I could wear just as foundation. Of course they changed it up and then discontinued it. A hidden gem of a product that I wish they had promoted more.

Re: Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation

@Ronettes , I just came across the Fit Me Powder Foundation in my make-up drawer a few weeks ago.  I had forgot about it and started wearing it again and was so impressed that I got another one about a week ago.   I'm currently using the Translucent shade.  At first it seems like it's way too light in color but then in blends in.
