I realize Maybelline is not a high-end product, but I have tried so many foundations - liquid, mousse, serum, cream, stick, powder-to-cream, etc. They are either too thick, too shiny, too sheer, or settle in all the wrong places on mature skin, and end up being 'aging'.
I saw this Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Pressed Face Powder and decided to try it in my color, 120 Classic Ivory.
I used a brush to fluff it on very lightly and was amazed at the coverage and blurring effect it has.
For $9 I think this will be my foundation for the warm summer months!
Comes in a variety of shades including translucent, and is one of the best foundations I have come across yet. Also comes in a 'loose powder' version.

Thx @Ronettes. I have been looking for a light powder foundation and really don't want to pay a lot for one. This sounds like it fits the bill. I usually use Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizer on a daily basis and the powder should be a perfect finisher when it's hot and humid.

@Desertdi - Yes, I have tried elf also, and it's a good general face powder.
The Maybelline powder has some type of 'blurring' effect that I have not come across in any other powder.
And it has a nice finish to it.

I am a big fan of Maybelline. I have not used FitMe but SuperStay powder and liquid foundation. I also use the Lifter stick, eraser concealer, and color tattoo eye stix. The Fuchsia for Me lipstick is a favorite.

I also use the 'Unstoppable' eye liner pencil in black, it's excellent and doesn't wear off, or irritate my eyes.
Maybelline products don't prompt any allergic reactions, at least not to me.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation has talc (first ingredient), unfortunately.

Hmmm, even Clinique face powder lists 'talc' as their first ingredient.
And Clinique is the allergy friendly line.

For the most part there's nothing wrong or bad about using talc. It's just, for me anyways, that it can be very drying on the skin so I avoid it.
