Has anyone used these cosmetics? I thought Max Factor was discontinued, but they relaunched and are available on Amazon, besides having their own website.

Max Factor is called "the makeup of makeup artists" and also "makeup to the stars." Prices don't seem too bad on Amazon, yet they don't list prices on their website. Anytime a site doesn't show prices, I figure they're expensive.

I don't plan on buying any Max Factor just wondered if anyone has tried them.

I used some Max Factor products years ago. They made a foundation stick that was really good. I think the Vermont Country Store sold it for awhile. In any case, I'd wait until reviews come in for the launch of the new Max Factor since we don't know who bought the rights to use that name. The original Max Factor was a famous Hollywood make-up artist.

@teganslaw   I haven't used it, but the Pan Stick, which was one of the first full coverage, heavy foundations would cover a third arm. LOL. I think that's why it became popular w/ celebrities being photograghed and makeup artists doing their makeup for movies and appearances.

I used it for decades and for several years had to get my pan stik off of ebay until the prices sky rocketed for my shade.  I have not bought it in several years but I still have the last little bit in a stick in my bathroom for old times sake.  When the price went over $100.00 on ebay for my shade I only used what I had left for special occasions.  Last week I looked and there was my shade for $175.00 for one stick.

I think Max factor was purchased by Proctor and Gamble. BTW, Max Factor's great-grandsons own Smashbox cosmetcis. Smashbox was very recently purchased by guess who? Estee Lauder. Any line they haven't acquired?

Oh wow! They had a liquid foundation that I loved and was sad when it was discontinued. I also had a few lipsticks that I used for years.
i had no idea they were relaunching.

It will be wonderful if they come back.  I googled a few minutes ago and got caught up in his story.  Interesting man from Russia.  You can see how closely is Russian name was to the name he chose when he came to our country.  I did not know he started with a Barber shop.

@Shanus  Yep ...   the ones that haven't been RUINED yet!!!!!!

Shame about Smashbox.  Used HALO when I went into the office as my foundation.  Very natural and great color for me.  I guess NOT ANY MORE.   I've been working from home since March 2020 without ever using foundation.  Not sure I will anymore.  Maybe just concealor touchups.

One of the UKk beauty bloggers, I guess thats what they are called, on YouTube mentions the Max Factor line quite often.  Ugh, can't think of her name right now but I like watching her as she is closer to my age than most.
