Matte Color Help

Hi gang! Long time no see {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I haven't been around here in ages because...ugh, well because I strayed away from BE. So ashamed {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Anyway I've come back to it (as I always do whenever I stray) and I need some color advice from the experts - yes, that's you guys!

I am a medium beige girl in original, however we went from cold to cool to hot in a matter of weeks around here (it's supposed to be 88 today) and I find myself being super shiny 1st thing in the morning even with 2 layers of MV. I've tried matte before and didn't really like it, but I tried it again the other day and it was nice. HOWEVER it was medium beige and it was sooooo yellow on me. It reminded me more of Golden Medium (which I tried once when I lost my mind).

So, if Medium Beige matte runs yellow (on me), then does it stand to reason that Medium will be more neutral than cool (on me)? Am I crazy? I don't want to go to anything lighter because I don't think the shade/color is the issue, it's more the undertone.

Ahh! Help!
