@Sooner Thanks much for the heads up on the brushes.  I have owned my mixed bristle brush from Mason Pearson for about 15 years now.  It is still in good shape but a girl can always use a good brush.

@Sooner I'm still shopping.  Is there is a big difference with the sensitive?  I'm eyeing the blue one you snagged.  I love blu

@Misplaced Parisian Sorry I just saw your post--so here's my answer.  The boar bristle ones are more of a massage when you brush.  The mixed goes through my hair easier and is more like a "normal" brush.

The sensitive has fewer bristles so it goes through without as much "tug"--doesn't really dig into the hair as much.  Not that it is really softer.  Just easier to pull through. I like all three and use them at different times.

It is amazing to me how good and effective even the purse size is!

I stared buying them probably 30 years at the old Post Office building in DC when there on business.  If it was ever on sale, I bought it!  LOL!!!

If any were too thick he said, my hairdresser offered to snip out a few bristles and I was horrified.  It was a joke from then on. . . LOL!!!  I'd say I'm not letting YOU cut it!  Unlike my hair it won't grow back!

@Misplaced Parisian  Glad to help out!  I am jealous! Mine has made it to Texas but not across the Red River yet!  I am so happy that you like yours!

@Kabella I hope they still have the sale on!  Those prices are great and especially for something you don't see on sale a lot.
