What do you do, and why?

Since I only go for volume - no length needed - I just dab the wand on my lashes only a couple of times, w/ only a whisper of a touch on the bottom lashes. If I drew the wand through, my lashes would be so long, I would get that spidery look.

At least TWO thick coats in the winter.   Humidity too low here (single digits) to wear mascara in the summer.   It turns my lashes into hard "thorns".

When I do wear mascara, I always use a curler because my lashes are thin, light and go every which way!

I take the wand and wiggle it back and forth near the roots first.  Then I go for the tips and then pull the wand all the way through.

I like the formulas that thicken and don't care as much for the lengthening.

I never wear waterproof as it's too hard to get off.

I also never wear mascara on bottom lashes any more as I don't think it looks right on me since I've gotten older and also I tend to make a mess of it as I don't see as well.

I usually don't wear mascara. My lashes are very dark but very straight. If I don't use a mascara that lifts and curls then my lashes are like awnings over my eyes...Smiley LOL I wear mascara occasionally and only on my top lashes. My bottom lashes are fine the way they are...at least you can see them.

Have very thin lashes, can't wear any mascara, it irritates my eyes. I have tried Clinique, It, Lancôme,

Laura Geller, Maybeline. I only wear on special occasions. I use 2 coats, even then not much of a lash.

I also have almost no eyebrows due to thyroid disease for over 40 years.

I use Clinique eye brow powder along with It.

I am 65 and do have dry eyes that Restasis helps hugely.

From the roots on all: Great Lash thin brush , top and bottom. Then a Clinique volumizing mascara top and bottom. Finish with Great Lash curved brush on top.

I always blink my mascara on. I use Clinique because all others give me raccoon eyes.

My daughter was recently diagnosed w/ dry eyes and told not to wear the usual mascaras because of the rubbing and products needed for removal. Being a makeup junkie (full face every day even as dental hygienist, most of her face covered w/ mask & eyes w/ goggles/visor 😄). The doc told her to use a tubular mascara. Comes off w/ water...the tubes wrap the lash and slide off w/ just water.

For brows, (mine are thinning just from age & am missing the "tails"), I like some of the brow "mascaras" w/ fibers in them. Benefit makes a great one called Gimme Brows.

My lashes are short and sparse due to chemo 5 years ago. Lost them all but they did grew back------yay!! I use a teeny little, short  brush from IT primer mascara that really captures each of the 12 lashes---;-)---I have on each eye. then use a reg mascara to darken them. Have to use non waterproof mascara so as not to rip anymore out when I remove it at night. I use to use Mirrenesse tubular mascara when it was on HSN years ago, and LOVED that brand. They really came off in tubes.

I bought some Mirinesse from Zulilly a few months back.  Be forwarned, no returns with Zulilly.
