I do think knocking on your door on Saturday morning after you already said no is pushy and I would not have liked it either.

I've used the products for years. Various friends were consultants. I was my last year of college and first year out. I didn't do very well! {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I have used Timewise facial wash every morning as long as I can remember. I love their makeup remover, and the bronze eyeliner. I get other products from time to time.

My current consultant is in her 80's. She's a real sweetheart and has become a good friend. She pressured me to rejoin just a little at first. I think inviting someone to be a "model" at one of their events is SOP for them, but I knew what was going on! Wink

She is a snowbird and will tell anyone that Mary Kay bought their condo down south!

Unfortunately Mary Kay has a bad name out in the beauty world. Yes, they are stalkers. Yes it is a cult-like company. They haven't changed. Its too bad too because they could have a lot more reps and customers if they weren't so annoyingly forward. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

I was suckered into being a consultant. The girl who signed me up drove the "pink Cadillac". She was smooth. Talked me into buying hundreds of dollars of inventory. I was NOT a salesperson. Did not have 1 party and never pushed any of my family or friends into buying products. I ended up selling it on eBay. That being said, I do love their Timewise line and hand set. Their makeup has come a long way. They even use it on project runway. I purchase it on eBay still. Love their shadows and lipsticks.

I was an IBC for 10 years. You make no money, but you will be hounded by phone calls to join. To get the real story on this pyramid scheme, check out www.pinktruth.com. If that website had been around when I was recruited, I would never have joined.

A little OT, but I used to love when the Avon Lady visited my mom when I was a child. Fanny always smelled really good and left lots of samples (those tiny white tubes of lipstick!). My mom always bought the cologne and lip balms Avon had for little girls for my Christmas stocking.
