I got a shadow stick in one of the beauty boxes,  I did not like it as a shadow,  The color is Dusty Rose.  One day I was playing with my makeup and decided to try it as a concealer around my nose.  I have a vein that needs hiding.  Well the color matched perfectly and it lasts most of the day!  So a new use for a shadow stick and now I don't have to buy a new concealer!!

I love my Mally shadow sticks, I have a little bald spot on top of my head that I used to fill it in one time in a pinch, and it worked beautifully. Looks like that's the last time I buy the Joan Rivers fill in powder that actually doesn't work as well.

You can also use the shadow stick as a highlighter for your cheeks.  The rose shade is a pretty color.

I only like the shadow sticks in matte, not shimmer. For some reason they tend to be drying. The same with Bobbie Brown shadow sticks.

I just bought a few off ebay, I also prefer the matte ones.

Most shadow sticks are matte to stay put.  If the cap is not tight, like gelliners, they do dry out quickly.

I have been preferrring Laura Mercier sticks and there are so many colors to choose from....mattes and shimmers. There has been a site wide sale.

The Laura Mercier website has been down to redesign "Maison Mercier."
