I learn so many new tips from you gals, so I figured I would share one.

I have Mally's Gel System and I absolutely love it but, I also own like 100 bottles of regular nail polish as well and I've invested so much money in them and am not ready to part with them just yet. Plus after the 1st week, I get tired of the same color on my nails. Last week I tried it with regular polish for the first time and I really liked it. Loved the top coat - Super Shiney. I did everything the same, only thing I did differently was use two coats of regular nail polish instead of Mally's Polish and it worked! I did notice some slight chipping at the tips but I didn't really seal the tips + I was kinda rough on my nails so I'm not really sure if that is normal, though I suspect is probably is since after all it is regular nail polish. The only thing I would stress, is to wait until your nails are COMPLETELY dry before applying the top coat b/c if your nails are still wet, the polish will smudge under the top coat - Not Pretty! I'm starting the 2nd week now and I read on the Internet that you can just paint on top of it, so I tried it, and again it worked! I just buffed the top coat down just like when your about it soak it and then wiped my nails clean with the Nail Surface Cleanser and then applied my regular nail polish and then set it under the light for 30 secs and viola.

I'm going to soak it off next week and I expect that process should be as normal. I'll post back next week after I soak them off.

Also, I tried her system with a Gel Polish that I purchased from Walmart, Gel Sensation I think? and it worked just fine though I did notice that Mally's polish lasted much longer and the other polish I felt needed 90 secs to set instead of the regular 60 seconds. No problems soaking it off, it came off just as normal.
