I have been in love with Mally Volumizing Mascara since I first tried it! I have noticed recently that it is difficult to come off when cleansing my face. I always used to use a small amount of my cleanser and it came right off. Does anyone else find this problematic lately??

I have always used purity to wash my makeup off including my eyes. There's definitely changes made to the mascara since her company was sold. I now get splotches under my eye and on my eye lid below my brow. I wish mally would step in and bring back the old formula. I'm on the hunt for my new fav mascara after using only mally 3 years. I'm not the only one who feels this way. I've converted daughter and friends over and they have the same complaints. Mascara too clumpy, sometimes to dry, brush seems different.

I have always worn waterproof (Maybelline) eyelash stuff (black) with eyeliner (waterproof).
The best eyemakeup remover in the world I tell you is Clinique Creamy Eye Makeup remover. It is the absolute best.
Take it from an old lady who in the 60's wore tons of eye makeup!

I use hers and other waterproof mascaras over it and have no trouble removing it with Almay Waterproof eye makeup remover pads and if any little bit is left on, Skinn makeup remover towelettes does the rest.

Another good one is Physicians Formula Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. It's hypoallergenic & fragrance free. I get it on drugstore.com because I can't seem to find it in the drugstores either because they must not carry it or it gets sold out. Maybe Ulta or Walmart or Target carries it, haven't looked in any of those.

I used to love it, but I haven't bought it lately. I never found it difficult to remove in the past. Wasn't the formula changed? Benefit's They're Real is hard to remove and so is Chanel's Le Volume.
I notice the plastic 'brushes" mascara are harder to remove, but I didn't think Mally's had a plastic brush.

Try fractionated (liquid) coconut oil. I started taking my eye make up off with that, and it does an amazing job. Good luck.

I switched to Bobbi Brown mascara when Mally's company switched. I also use Lancomes eye makeup remover now. I used to use Purity but that formula seems different to me. I saw a post that said that the beeswax is now synthetic and I'm wondering if that's part of the problem. I doubt that Mally has 100% control with the new company. It seems when these companies are sold to these mega groups the formulas start to change. I'm not sayting that they are not good products but the performance that some of us need may not be the same results that we had in the past.

I'm sorry...I can't address the new formulation. All my stockpile of Mally white mascara is from prior to the sale of the company.
However, after years of trying EVERY remover...I will ONLY use Mally's Eye Makeup remover.
It works on waterproof as well. Takes EVERY bit off....no oily residue. Gentle. No loss of lashes.
I get it at beautydotcom with all kinds of discounts.
