Re: Mally Poreless Face Defender

A few weeks ago I saw this product BUT with a slight tint to it on the QVCUK site; actually, a video of her on air showing and applying it. She discussed how it used to be clear but "I decided to improve it......" and then went on with the demo.

To ME, this sounded as if the new owners of the company wanted to make it more THEIR item so by adding a tint to it, the product could be released as something "new and improved".

I think the tint ruins it, to be honest. I also have not seen it here in the states.

I wish had purchased more of them. So diasppointed I cannot find it anywhere. Does anyone know where it can be purchased? Mally needs to bring it backMan Sad

A few places carry the original, non-tinted version (there are two - the original and the newer tinted one),  just google. Ulta,  Birchbox, Mally's own website, to name a few.

Re: Mally Poreless Face Defender

Poor Mally.  It must be hard to concede control of your dream to other people with different standards. The changes in Mally Beauty, and others after their sale, has turned my slightly excessive backup system into full blown hoarding.  Poreless is/was such a fabulous product- no glare or shine, no stiffling coverup, no dry talcum powder.   Sob!  But Ulta made a dupe, so did Cover Girl.  I'm guarding my remaining 3 Poreless like jewels in a vault.  Same thing with Mally's original mascara- hate More is More just as much as I love the original so those duplicates just taking up space before have been moved up to top shelf.  But I don't want to use them because once they're gone they're gone forever.  Meanwhile,  I found the perfect powder foundation and had to force myself to stop at 7. Every time I was shopping I thought -  I'll just get one more .....  It took over forty years for the cosmetic world to make a color for me and I just know the company's about to be sold and they'll "new and improve" my shade out of existence.  pure paranoia but can't help it.

@HappyDaze Is right. Ulta carries it.
