Making your own Vit C serum - is anyone doing it? What are you using ?

After reading the thread a few weeks ago and watching the video, I bought the LAscorbic Acid powder from lotion crafters and had some Philosophy Turbo C and have been mixing with water and glycerin. The glycerin is a too sticky for me even using a much lower ratio, and water alone is too watery to get it to my face.

Anybody find other bases to use - not oils - that are working for you?
