Makeup sales ...

Do the different brands have their web 20% off sales more than once a year? Or is it just at Christmas time? I just missed the Laura Mercier sale but didnt know at the time how much I love her brand. Am I going to have to pay full price until next year? I am afraid of Ebay for my beauty products ... I do not want to have to worry about counterfiets or the conditions the products were stored in before receiving them. Any input would be great!
