Makeup Primer

I have read several times on the boards that people use Monistat as a makeup Primer. Are we talking about the regular Monistat that is sold at the drugstore for female type infections?

If so, brand, amount (just a pea size?) and rub it into your facial skin?

Just want to make sure that I am understanding this correctly.
