Did anyone here get one of the neutral matrix palettes?  I've been watching a few YouTube videos.  They look really nice, but I don't have any experience with the brand.  I'm looking for matte eyeshadows that are creamy and don't have a lot of fallout, and these look like they might fit the bill.  I outfitted a small NARS pro palette, and nearly choked at the price......................

Re: Makeup Geek Matrix Palettes

@Favorite Son - I can't help with the matrix palettes, but I can tell you about the line. I met Marlena, who created the line,  a few years ago with DD, who has just about everything they first started out with! She is a really nice person who is passionate about her line and willingly answered my questions about recommendations. I bought a few items after that, and I thought the price was really good for the product quality. Smiley Happy

Thanks.  I stumbled across the product while watching a YouTube video, and then I think I watched just about every recent swatch and tutorial video that's out there.  I really like the fact that there are so many matte selections.  Nowadays I usually use Mac paint pots or Sigma shadow base sticks since those perform better on my aging eyelids.  I've given away all my powder shadows except for one Anastasia four-pan palette that I put together on Ulta, and I'd like to try these.

I also figured out that if I buy three 9-pan palettes, a large rectangular palette, add my choice of 28 shadows, and apply one of the YouTube discount codes, I can get a custom palette of matte shadows that I have curated just for myself.  The cost looks to be only about $6 more than the stock neutral palette less a 10% discount.  If I buy it, my palette would be the neutral palette without the warm brown, red, and yellowish rows, replacing those with the green, cool purple, and cool pink rows from the color palette, minus any of the foils.  I replaced those top pans in each column with two extra shimma shimmas and the darkest blue.
