Very happy Angela Bright basic brush set is back at Sigma at a savings!

What kind of brushes do you use?

I use only short bristled, firm synthetic brushes.   I use mineral makeup...and need to "buff" to bring up a sheen.

I do not care for that "matte" look...

Re: Makeup Brushes

For the most part I use Artis brushes for application of facial make up items.  I have some sigma for eye makeup and prefer the travel size because they are shorter.

95% of my brushes are Mac.

I have a couple of IT Cosmetics face brushes & 1 Morphe eyeshadow brush.

I have still not found a blush brush that I love. I had to replace my original Mac 109 & I strongly dislike the new 109.

The brushes I use the most are by IT.   And agree about needing short firm bristles for my Bare Minerals Bisque. For that I use a Bare Minerals brush. I don't think they make it anymore.  It used to come with the bisque.  It's like a small kabuki on a stick.  LOL

@ECBG   I have my original Bobbi Brown brushes, but am replacing them whenever there's a sale. I also have IT and Trish McEvoy brushes. I do have duplicates of all the brushes I use often and some are multipurpose like my IT foundation brush with the two ends. Love that one for foundation, concealer and my cream bronzer and cream blush...I have accumulated 4 or 5 of those at ULTA sales.

Most of my brushes are BK Beauty brushes.  I have some IT Cosmetics brushes, some Real Techniques, some ELF. Laura Geller kabukis that I use for her BnB.  Have a couple Doll10 that came in kits.

I have so many brushes----most are the ones that come with the make up deals here--I don't use many of them tho and it fact threw out a BE brush that most of the bristles broke and it got to be too pokey to use. Need to ditch about 1/2 of them. Have to say that they are pretty nice ones that cost alot to buy.

Like others here. I have a large assortment of brushes - inexpensive to pricey, from a range of brands. Some have come in kits, some not.
