@wilma

LOL, I've had my Caboodle for years, the lock closure has quit working but the rest of the box/compartments are still usable and serves its purpose.  Haven't seen any new posts of you in 'Fashion' I hope all is well with you and  your sister as well with her health issues.  Take care.

@SoCal Bred

My Caboodle lid broke and wouldn't stay closed so I couldn't grab it by the handle anymore.

I haven't been posting photos in the Fashion OOTD thread. I'm still here posting and liking comments in some threads.

I am ok. Dealing with some things right now. Thank you for your well wishes. Wishing you and your family the best too!

Although I don't have a ton of excess makeup, I do have many items on my dresser.  Lotions, pretty trays, fragrance, trinket boxes, hair care products. SO knows he better not comment or move it.  He thinks it just sits there, it's a space that is truly MINE.  He knows it makes me happy.  ❤️.  I have a few make up back ups in a drawer.  It's neat and organized.  The items are used daily and get rotated.  Trying to have less, but I love my beauty stuff.  My ongoing goal is to continue to reduce the stash.

The few makeup items I call my "5 minute face" are in a basket on my vanity...brushes and pencils included. The rest of my makeup is in drawers underneath and backups in above cabinets. Skincare (AM and PM) are in a tray next to my sink.

My perfumes were in a tray on my dresser which is on the wall leaving my room and I'd garb a bottle and spray. It's also across from a large window which can affect the bottles of perfume, so they'd been moved to my bathroom cabinet and I take one down after makeup and before getting dressed.

I use this Caboodle Make-Up Box, it stores all the makeup that I need and I keep it in a cabinet under the bathroom sink.  I purchased it at Amazon years ago, Walmart also sells them.

Cabinet in the bathroom.  I have an acrylic makeup organizer where I keep my everyday makeup.  It sits on top of another organizer for makeup not used everyday.

I can easily pull it out and have it sit on top of the bathroom countertop while using my everyday products and then put it away when I am finished for a clutter free counter.

I also have a large cabinet just for storing extra skin & hair care products.

@monicakm We're still in the same house that we raised the kids in and it's been over thirty years.  While it as its drawbacks (stairs) I like the room for just the two of us.

I have the main bathroom & DH now has the hall bath.  Both bathrooms were renovated within the last year so both are nice and up to date with plenty of storage.

A few years back, I bought a white wooden makeup organizer from QVC, that I think was from Lori Greiner.  It looks like a big jewelry box and holds a lot.  I have it sitting between the sinks on my bathroom counter.

I loved my caboodles and still have 2 that I bought either in high school and college.  One is at my parents house and I keep some items in it for when I stay there.  The other one I've used for years but mostly for school things.  My first job had me traveling between 2 schools.  People would take things out of my room when I wasn't there, so I used one of the caboodles to carry my supplies like tape, scissors, etc!   I also used it for change when I did book fairs, back before they sent you a cash drawer and register.  It was just the right thing with it's different comparments.
