MY Callista rollers smell!

when the rollers heat up they give off amusty odor which then gets in my hair.  has anyone else had this problem?  I will try heating them once or twice a day to see if it goes away, if not they're going back.

I know the smell you are talking about.  Tomorrow will be the 4 the time I have used them & I don't have that smell anymore.  I love my Calista rollers & have no trouble giving it a 5 star rating.

I have the original Perfector and it has a terrible odor too that does transfer to the hair.  I would rate it as the worst item I've ever ordered from the Q.  I should have returned it but thought the smell would go away.
