Re: MALLY'S NEW FLUID FOUNDATION

best foundation I have ever used-one of the best-I should say-covers without using a lot-does not get stuck in pores like the new bare minerals one and leaves skin looking virtually flawless...........

I've come to really like it. Very smooth finish and no caking. But I need a shade in between light and medium. I'd like to change my A/D to medium but no-go. So I may cancel entirely (the rest of the kit is only so-so and I hear they are not changing out the colors.) The foundation is available on its own. My other issue is...you can't tell when it's used up very easily!

Re: MALLY'S NEW FLUID FOUNDATION

We have to be responsible consumers too! Mally has a new color in mousse that is the only foundation that ever in all my 60 plus years matches my skin perfectly. She took a financial risk in doing it . Not one of the other Q makeup manufacturers have ever taken such a bold step so many have turned away from the q entirely. Mally's mousse clearly says it's a moisturizer yet her critics are giving it poor ratings because it leaves their skin feeling moist. Buy a dry powder or alcohol based foundation then but please don't give the Q an excuse for taking away the only foundation I can use . I haven't found, through all the hype and empty promises , a moisturizer that doesn't make me shiny. I can stop searching now because I can use Mally's mouse when I'm going out and who cares if I shine at home alone? And her Poreless is fabulous and absolutely matte! Please , let's encourage her for adding new shades to her foundations, PTR, LG, IT among a few others , added tones that are atrocious , simply off color deep tans. BE shines like metal from the toxic waste disposal plant, most turn green like vert iron. They started a company branch in Europe to make deep shades that don't have a metallic glare. Why won't they bring that line to US? Maybe because they were sold to people to whom this is not profitable? Is there anything we can count on anymore? Everybody with integrity is selling and abandoning us to money grubbing, animal product users and known mass production driven companies. Please don't run Mally off too? They say no good deed goes unpunished but do we have to be the devil's minions and destroy her too?

Re: MALLY'S NEW FLUID FOUNDATION

It may be true that you can't please all the people all the time but why is it Mally can't please anybody? She has a mousse that IS a moisturizer and a full coverage makeup. It is the only makeup on all of QVC that matches my Oprah colored skin perfectly. She clearly describes it as a moisturizer and the first thing she hears from the reviewers is that they didn't like the feeling, it's moist.

The next one, I think , complained that it isn't a mouse but comes out in bubbles. Well, it you shake it like you would whipped cream in the same type of dispenser you'll find the lightest, fluffiest mousse you could ever want. Perhaps that's the reason the other reviewer didn't like the texture, the moist feel? Did she get a blended product or the moisturizer on top, leaving heavier pigmented matte product in the bottom?

I am in my early 60s too and not only do I have dry patches, I get eczema patches from the least irritation, like blowing my nose during allergy seasons or common cold. I can tell you that this mousse is smooth, silky, not greasy, but never dry, cake or pasty. It lasts all day without retouching, It lasted through tears and laughter, running thru oncoming thunderstorm. It did not change color. With deep shades from other companies you're guaranteed grey, ashy mess or neon orange as your own oils mix with the poorly milled foundation. And forget Bare Minerals. Theypre metallic like iron or old pipes from the dump, ugly green metal. They changed the composition and shades of their foundation for their European customers but didn't think to bring it to US.

Not only did Mally add a shade for me, I've read customers who are between tan and medium or white and pale and she's added shades for them too. Pretty soon she'll have as many choices as LANCOME and her formulations are far superior. I can testify to that one personally.

I'd been looking for a daytime moisturizer that didn't leave me shiny. I've looked for one without the sunscreen (that turns white on dark skin- its the zinc most often). Mally solved that problem and gave me a foundation and non shiny moisturizer all in one. People of lesser color have had this luxury for some time. This is the first one for me. And this is the second foundation she's added shades to in the last few months. I wish somebody would make an eyelid primer that isn't metallic grey/white. All that's out there in color is tan. and dark tan. and those are rare.

I wish just once, the reviewers would consider that their nasty comments affect the future of the product and manufacturer. If ten minutes on Q can make Jamie a millionaire, it should be clear that there are far reaching consequences to our reactions. And it would benefit us all to properly direct our hostility and not use these forums to hack away at someone, anyone, who didn't evoke it.

I'd like to be able to continue to purchase my Mally products. I hope the viewers will think first, hold their tongues if nothing good is going to come off of them, and let those of us who need the products have them. How does everybody feel about no more Grace, Amazing and others? Stacy's on HSN, rollers and all. Ojon is just gone. Maybe some of you remember Yves Rocher? where's Smashbox, Tarte?
