MAC POWDER FOUNDATION STUDIO FIX

I just wanted to mention that MAC powder Studio Fix foundation has been reformulated and it is talc free since some time in 2025.

I read the shades could be a little darker than before but I don't know if this is true.  It happened in 2025 so I'm not sure if I have the reformulated version or not. I don't think so as one does not need much to swirl around and it lasts.

But for me it is the best.  It is light with good coverage.  If you are in a store who carries the brand  I think it would be good to try shades with some help in an actual beauty store  if the shades have indeed changed a bit. It does not pull like traditional powder puffs.

I love it as it has been mentioned.  This is the brush I gently roll around for coverage.  I love this little brush.

I have the older version and love it also.  It's a good powder foundation.

@Pink123  @JudyL   This is a wonderful full coverage foundation (the liquid one, too). I used to use it on brides for their weddings....covers any flaws.

I really liked the old formula Mac Powder Foundation Studio Fix.  But after the formula was changed I have not been able to find a shade that works for me.

@Shanus  I agree and the best even over my long "Lancome powder marriage over 30 years"! lol.

For the lady that made a comment below I don't think there is much difference.  I don't need it yet as with that fluffy brush swirled around, it's just fine. cleans easy too with a bit of soap once in awhile. I too have a few shades from 15-18, and they both work. Honestly I pull out both in my make up bag and can hardly tell the difference. Thumbs up on this one. (I think I'm saving money as the swirl around my face uses so much less than a powder.  I do not use foundation below it.  Perfect.
