I love this stuff, really love it.  I have very dry skin and makeup tends to look cakey on me.  I have tried everythng from Laura Mercier, Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury and on and on for 30 years. A little goes a long way and you can build your coverage.

Everyone is different and I don't want to deter you from trying this makeup. Speaking from my own personal experience, it looked great when I first put it on. I was very happy. When I looked at myself in the mirror when I got to work I was horrified. It looked like I had dried up clay on my face. This was at least 5 years ago, possibly closer to 10 years , maybe the formula is better now.

@PhilaLady1 The same happened to me when I first tried it. Like I said, a little goes a long way.  I use ICE moisturizer under the makeup and use my hands, no brush to apply. Tthat works best for me and no dried up clay...

I like the makeup, but it's very dark.  I have light skin so it just doesn't work for me.

@brandiwine I'm so white I glow in the dark but the magic finish classic works well for me.  I usually use Ivory colors in foundation.
