Looking for a brow gel

I have tried a few brow gels. I like the concept (covers grays and holds in place), but they are all too much.

What I mean is too much product comes out of the tube onto the applicator, and then smears or clumps on my brows. I have tried wiping the applicator with a tissue, but that is not quite doing it.

Is there one that is really conservative in how much comes out onto the applicator?

I have tried Anastasia and Philosophy. I like Bare Escentuals in clear.
