Re: Looking for Powder for Coverage

I also like the Physicians Formula. It covers extremely well and I Love the SPF 30. My daughter-in-law wore BE for years. She tried some of my PF and LOVES IT! Her skin looks flawless. Good Luck on your search!

Re: Looking for Powder for Coverage

Tarte Mineral powder is good, BE, Laura Mercier is excellent, Benefit Hello Flawless is excellent but they lean toward yellow tones. Maybelline Age Rewind Powder is very good and it covers pores without drying you out. LM and Benefit are very creamy powders.

High End: Laura Mercier offers several different powders (compact & loose). She has great products.

Low End: Physicians Formula

Broken record here. Mineral foundation powder by Cory or Meow.

I know there are other great indy brands out there but Cory and Meow are my personal recommendations after years of use.

Mrs Sweetie Bear: Can you tell us about Cory? I just looked it up and they are mica free! I'd love to hear what type of skin you have and why you like Cory. Also, if you would not mind, could you tell us what your coloring is and what shade you use in Cory? Thank you!

Re: Looking for Powder for Coverage

There is another new drugstore powder that is supposed to feel almost like a cream but it's a true powder - advertises non drying and covers well. I want to say Maybelline too but didn't think the one I am referring to had ""matte"" in the title. Maybe there is a Dream Matte and a regular Dream Powder.

I do know it has 90% less talc than typical powders which is one of the reasons I am curious about it. I find talc to be very drying and settles in lines on my skin. I know it's been out for enough time that most drugstores should carry it.

I have also liked BE's Ready powder foundation. I could not wear their loose minerals for a couple of reasons - the bismuth for one and it was very drying on my skin. Made my skin look lifeless. But their Ready lines is pretty good.

I also love Smashbox's Halo .............. that is one of my faves as it seems to look better as the day goes on. Almost creates a glow on the skin after a few hours.

Re: Looking for Powder for Coverage

Mally's Visible Skin Foundation (Powder) is wonderful! I have never been able to use a powder foundation before until this one. Easy to use, great coverage, and lasts a long time.

I love a matte finish too. I have light/medium pink undertones and sensitive skin. I use Laura Geller Balance & Brighten. Its great ! I also have large pores and hides them.
