Looking For Shampoo and Conditioner

Right now I'm using Herbal Essences Hydralicious shampoo and conditioner. I'm not really loving them. I'm looking for something that is volumizing and good for color treated hair ( not interested in Wen). I would prefer drugstore brands but would consider higher end ones. What are some of your favorites? TIA

My suggestion would be to go to a beauty supply place, like Sally, for a quality color safe shampoo and conditioner. I think the Ion one is the current rave.

WalGreen's Shea Moisture Thickening Shampoo. It volumizes my super fine super thick hair well and smells great! I color every 4-6 weeks and don't bother with color treated shampoos any more because they all fade my red. Sallys has a volumizing ION shampoo for color treated hair you may want to try.

I came across Vidal Sassoon Volume Shampoo and separate conditioner in huge bottles for I think around $4.00 a bottle. !!! Its wonderful. I think I picked it up in Wal Mart. Try it....why spend $$$ .. I need volume in my hair.....I wear a medium length bob. This product does it for me ! I highly recommend it.

I like Aussie products.

There's always Pantene.

Costco's Kirkland sulfate-free shampoo is great, and very inexpensive. This is an item we have purchased many times over. Because its sulfate-free it is safe for color treated hair. I believe it is made by a very reputable high-end hair care company. Great price and you can return it if not happy. Makeup Alley has lots of reviews on this.

I like the Suave with Moroccan oil (when I don't have WEN...lol) I also like Nexus Split End shampoo.

I also recently tried Colorproof in the PINK bottle---called Crazy Smooth---very expensive, but WOW. I did not like the other formulations of Colorproof at all. It is by the maker of Pureology, which people love, too,

I tried something today that was great---got a sample from Sephora of Living Proof (NOT the shampoo or conditioner) 5-1 Styling stuff. I used just the tiniest amount from my ears down instead of my Wen syling cream. I was surprised at the volume I got, AND my hot roller set (I have long hair) lasted all day in the humidity.

I liked this, too. It doesn't have that heavenly scent it had ages ago, but it worked nicely---and so cheap!
