If I'm going out I usually always wear a liquid lipstick. I just ordered 2 from the new Makeup Geek releases and I'm excited to try them!

Eww! Let us know how it goes!

My 24 pack of the Cailyn are fabulous! Having a blast going through the colors and the nice thing is that only one piece from my previous 3 pack was duplicated! It's in my gift drawer Woman Wink

Lipstick - definitely!  Revlon Lustrous, especially.  Goodness knows, I've tried almost every gloss known to man from expensive dept store to drugstore. Always too sticky and gooey for me and the color wears off in less than 15 minutes. I do like some of the tinted balms -- especially Burt's Bees crayon lipstick balm.  @sapphire 2, I want to try one of BB's new lipsticks - how do you like it so far?

Both. I like to put lipstick on first, blot it a few times & then gloss on top.

@Katcat1  Like Bobbi Brown lipsticks...her original formula. Brownie pink or Sandwash Pink are "your lips but better" shades I wear all the time.

Lipstick. Or, lip crayons! I think I jsut prefer the formula and the process of applying- usually for lip gloss I think of the ones that come with a doe-foot applicator brush and to me, I also associate lip gloss with shiny and sticky. I prefer the simplicity of a nude lip crayon for everyday or matte lipstick in bolder colors for special occasions!

I have a gap between my front teeth which I am very self-conscious about.  It's not quite as significant as Lauren Hutton's gap, but I am not a model either.

I am always afraid of drawing too much attention to my mouth so I wear a light  sheer nude lipstick with a very light touch of nude lip gloss.

BOTH!  When I worked it was lipstick with gloss on top.  Now, more often than not, it's Burt's Bees tinted balm in Hibiscus.  Or if I need longer hydration Buxom lip gloss in a subtle color.

tototwo,

I really like the Burt's Bees lipstick. I purchased #521, Ruby Ripple. It is very smooth, not as dense as the Revlon. A nice change.

Happy Holiday!

I mainly prefer lipstick.  I, too, like Clinique pop lipsticks with primer--stay on really well.  I have glosses, but I don't really like them.

Re: Lipstick or lipgloss?

[ Edited ]

Trend-wise, lipstick is king at the moment.  Matte's and liquid lipsticks are huge.  The days of MAC Lipglass ruling are over for the time-being.
