I am probably the last to find this out, but I was browsing Youtube and found a way to line the upper part of the eyes. This may be what "tightlining"is; I am not sure. You take an eyeliner pencil and draw on the underside of the upper lashes. I figured this wouldn't work for me since I have had no luck in lining the inside of my lower eyelashes. However, it did work for the upper and I was surprised at how much fuller my lashes looked even before I lined over the lashes. So i learned something new that I will use everyday! Am I just "behind" with this new information? I have worn makeup nearly all m life, but am not up on the latest things.

Yep that's tightlining. I've been doing it for a couple of years now. I use a thin brush with a slanted top to apply eyeliner. I love the subtlety of it as I like to look as if I almost jumped out of bed looking like I do and it makes my eyelashes look thicker. I think it was Laura Mercier who promoted doing this but I don't know when she started.

I used to do the tightlining back in highschool in the early/mid 90's before it was "in",I don't do it much now maybe on occasion but it definitely makes the top lashes look fuller.
