You may want to try one more time to see before you pass it on. Yes, I would be interested. Thank you!

I purchased the mini Light Stim in October during QVC's extended holiday return time. I figured I would have a longer time to decide if I really liked it. I had my husband take a picture of my full face before I started. After six weeks of consistent use, he took another picture. Sid-by-side pics were amazing! I thought it was making a difference, but when I saw the pics, wow! Try it for yourself and take pics. They don't lie. I am very happy I bought the Light Stim. The key is to be consistent. It is a commitment. Good luck.

I bought the LightStim a couple years ago. I have definitely noticed a difference. In the beginning I used it almost every day for about six months. I now sometimes take a week off here or there but I always go back to it. It is so easy to use. I usually do it either while watching TV or reading on the computer.

I was just looking at something from my Ulta e-mail. It's called Illumask and is a mask device you wear on your face for 15 minutes. I seems to do what this LightStim does. It costs $29.99. At first I thought this was a good deal but in reading the e-mail it says you get 30 treatments. I wonder if that means after 30 times it kind of burns out and you need to buy a new one. That would be costly in the long run. Has anyone ever heard of this?

I'm curious about the Illumask. I'm not good about using beauty tools. But, this looks like I could just take a nap for 15 minutes. If you hear anything else about it, do tell. It has good reviews on Ulta. I'm very tempted since it's only $30.
I found this information at the Illumask website: We strived to make the mask both affordable and efficacious. We measured and controlled the intensity of the light emitted by the mask to insure that each treatment session delivers the same amount of energy (lumens). After 30 doses, the mask’s LED lights lose a significant level of luminous intensity (irradiance) which results in it being less effective. Longer lasting lights would drive up the cost, preventing us from keeping the price at $1/dose. A $1/dose was paramount to our strategy of democratizing skin care. I have both the mini and the full size LightStim and use both - the mini is best for targeted treatment of problem areas crows feet, nasal labial folds, marionette lines, vertical lines between brows and the full size best for whole face neck and hands. Both units came with the LightStim serum and the full size unit came with a large bottle of the Dr Denese serum both work great. for the first few months I used both units daily the full size unit at night and the mini in the morning. There was an initial noticeable improvement and then slower more subtle improvement in recent months I have cut back to daily or every other day use with both the small and large units, one in each hand on opposite sides of the face for example the mini in my left hand on the left outer eye and the full size on my right lower face. I use Tom's Multi Timer for android on my phone as a timer (set timers for 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30 minutes there is a button to start all at once). I try to do the treatments every night lying in bed and then fall asleep - I find the treatments very relaxing, as I tend to carry tension in your temples and forehead, and continue to see improvements but not as dramatic as in the first few months. The improvements I have noted are better texture, diminished appearance of wrinkles, lines and cross hatching - fine lines and cross hatching has virtually disappeared. My skin feels more toned. I have some faint age spots and broken capillaries that have not been affected one way or the other. (I am 59, will be 60 in October 2014, fair skin, light eyes, currently dieting to lose weight - originally bought the LightStim because after losing 35 lbs. my face was looking a bit deflated - the treatments have helped and my face does appear more toned especially the lower face and chin where I have had a noticeable loss of subcutaneous fat.)

There's a Dr in my area that my husband used to do business with that advertises how he can fix many things with light.

Look him up. His name is Dr. White, Woodbridge, Va. He was a Chiropractor,

I have a question for those of you who own the device, do you need to replace the light head on the machine at some point and what kind of cost is that? HSN had a similar device on sale and upon reading the description, the head only last for so long and then you need to replace it and the replacement cost more than the machine on sale.
