I would agree that many of the Isomers serums are good choices. And would also second Nightowlz's response that a good peptide serum that your skin can easily tolerate would be very beneficial. Green tea is loaded with antioxidants which is also excellent for the skin so can't see any negative in using that too.

Maren ....................... hasn't green tea been shown to increase the benefit of derma rolling? There was so much info shared here on derma rolling that maybe I am confusing that with something else but somehow it keeps popping into my brain.

My Nutritone also just sits in a drawer which makes no sense. I am really trying to be faithful to Lightstim right now but somehow can't get the same enthusiasm for my Nutritone. I am really glad I got that on a fabulous special price for the little use it gets.

It's entirely possible, wackers -- I've been overwhelmed, too! I know that White Lotus has a Green Tea serum (I think Lyn in MI ordered it) to use while Dermarolling, so you're probably right! Even though I'm not sure mine does much (stability, etc) I use it once or twice daily anyway because it's just so darn high in antioxidants, it can't hurt!

I'm having the same problem with my NuFace. I REALLY saw a difference when I used it -- 3 days in a row. But honestly, the application of a gel, spritzing with water, having to remove the gel, just is a pain. AND -- I was doing the basic and advance techniques and it was taking between 35-40 minutes.

I'm planning -- eventually -- to get the DPL to replace my LightStim so I can just get it done in 10-20 minutes. (I've got the mini and it takes almost an hour to do my entire face, plus I do it at 5 minutes per spot.) Maybe then I'll be more willing to devote the time and hassle to NuFace. We really should be doing both if we're seeing the results. "Should". :-)

Maren .............. I saw a difference too especially with the puffiness under my eyes. But elsewhere too if I used it faithfully. But I so agree with you that applying the gel, then adding more as it dries out then having to rinse all the mess off starts to discourage you after awhile. I think if it was just using the Nutritone solo without all the added fuss, I might be more willing to make the effort.

What is the DPL? And I also use the Lightstim at least 5 minutes per spot so t takes awhile.

I have been using the LightStim for over a year without any serum.

MiShell5, I use the Nutritone with serum first, then use the Lightstim right after. Love the results. The "lift" is a definite lift. It does take a while to do all of that. That's why I don't use it more than twice a week, even though I know I would like the results if I did it more. You aren't supposed to use the Nutritone every day. They tell you to skip a day.

I know! I have the original and the more recent one. I just don't know why I don't reach for it. I used to use (still have) the Connie Stevens Forever Spring machine thingy. That sits in a drawer next to the Nutritone. I do remember using it faithfully when it came out and I had good results....That said, I was about 20 years younger so yeah, of course I had great results!

How are your results having that you have been using it for over a year? I am not using it like I should, so I cannot say if I have any results or not. I figure a serum could speed up the action!

Okay, I just did a NuFace and how could I not do this all the time? The results are pretty pleasing! Don't know if the Nutritone is as instantly gratifying. In theory, we "should" be willing to go through the hassle just to achieve results. I can only imagine what they'd be like long term! In reality, I just get lazy! I have the same complaint with the PTR glycolic acid pads (I just got the Best Sellers kit and it's going back - really don't like anything!). Apply, WAIT, rinse.

DPL is a "deep penetrating light" -- panels so you can do your entire face in one step. Google DPL and I think the name of a seller will come up -- Emerson Electric (?) that has LOTS of info and Q&A's. I learned about it here (natch) and someone said she was pretty much able to see a difference right away. There are more infrared lights than the LS. It's pretty pricy (what isn't?) but there are places to get it cheaper. Search on this board, too -- lots of threads on it!
