@SilleeMee  Are you no loner using the bamboo extract - powder you previously used?

@Mom2Dogs

I'm still taking a silica supp but not bamboo extract. There is 100% pure silica powder I take made by BulkSupplements brand. This one from amazon and the dose is the same as the bamboo extract. Bamboo extract is only 70% silica. The BulkSupplements silica is 100% pure silica...aka silicon dioxide.

I wish I could take collagen as a supplement. It doesn't agree with me. I tried it a few times and had side-effects. I'm not able to tolerate bovine products. My supplements have to be vegetarian.

@Effie54  second that,  I would love to find one without bovine, as I do have osteoporosis

@shoekitty  I just can't seem to take the bovine collagen at all. Nor can I have anything with shellfish. My choices are limited. I have osteopenia, so I could sure use some,

Can you two use marine collagen? If so Vital Proteins makes a Marine Collagen and a lot of people prefer it......

@GingerHead  I can look into that. I can't have fish either. My choices are limited. I might need a plant based collagen. Thank you for the suggestion.

@Effie54 you mentioned you can't take the Vital Proteins the post with the picture posted because you have osteoporosis.  Please explain more because I have osteoporosis as well.

@theresa  I can't tolerate quite a few foods and supplements. The bovine collagen is out. I get a rash, and other bad side effects. I'll keep checking for a vegan alternative.

@Seminole2

I haven't tried Primal, although I've seen it advertised.  I have tried Alaya but didn't purchase it again after I finished the first canister.  Codeage Platinum is the only one I've purchased multiple (7) times.

If you like using Collagen powder, you can use it in smoothies, yogurt, etc.  Maybe try it that way since you like the results of it?

@drizzellla  Wondering where u get ur Ethosyn? Seems hard to find now. Thank u

I was ordering directly from Ethocyn. I could not find it at any of the stores where I had previously bought Ethocyn. My last order was November, 2020.

I ordered and received the product. Then I got an email from Ethocyn. I made the mistake of not opening the email. Since I had just bought 2 vials, I thought it was saying that they shipped it. BIG MISTAKE.

They said in the email that they were no longer going to sell the product. And to order Ethocyn while they still had vials. I would have bought as much as I could.

BUT it was my mistake. So it seems like we are unable to buy it.

I heard that Tru Face was selling capsules similar to Ethocyn. So I bought them. Not sure if they work the same. But I really would like to stay with an "Ethocyn like" product. I used Ethocyn for over 20 years. And thought it did a good job.

And yes there are some of the same ingredients in both products but no Ethocyn in the Tru Face prroduct.

I am afraid I will turn into a picture of Dorian Gray with out Ethocyn.

Re: Let’s Talk Collagen Powder

I've been using collagen powder for around 5 years, it definitely helped with my aches & pains and my skin looks pretty good too.  I buy whatever is on sale.
