Do not put it in the refrig with the rest of your oils. It solidifed. Was a little surprised to find it that way. My other oils were fine and my Vit C is fine in the refrig. It's now thawed but don't know if the quality of the oil has changed. Oh well, didn't use it much anyway.

HAD READ THAT YOU SHOULD NOT PUT SKIN OILS IN THE FRIG, JudyL, BUT I DID KEEP MY LANCER OIL THERE, AND WAS FINE.
I WILL SAY THAT IT WAS IN A COSMETIC LITTLE FRIG, AND NOT THE KITCHEN ONE.
PROBABLY DOES NOT GET NEAR AS COLD.

@weez1987 - OH! Better take my other oil out of there then. Thought it would keep them longer if in the refrig. Your right a cosmetic little frig wouldn't be as cold as a kitchen frig.

They always said years ago to put nail polish in the fridge to keep it from getting thick, I never did or do that. And they used to say to keep panty hose in the freezer to keep from getting runs.

It's okay to store oils in the fridge. It won't ruin them. But first you need to take a little bit out of the main bottle and put it into a smaller bottle for daily use then store the main one in the fridge. When you need to refill your small bottle then take the main bottle out of the fridge and let it come to room temp so it can be poured out.

@Shelbelle - Had heard about the pantyhose in the freezer but never tried it. Although on a hot day, it might be kind of nice. HAHA

@sligo - Thanks but don't think I need a new bottle. It was fine after I let it sit out for a while.

If it is rich in saturated fatty acids like coconut oil, it will harden even at room temperature in the winter. I just place the bottle in warm water or if it is in a jar, I rub it in my palm and apply.
