Lav. Volumizing Mist ?

I caved and bought the volumizing mist (like the styling creme).. I am just not sure how to use it.. Yes, I looked at the video and yes I watched the presentation..

I am asking opinions/thoughts on people who have used this?

My hair is very long (waist length) so I'm not expecting huge amounts of volume, what I'm hoping for is just some volume to my hair all over and not just at the crown..

Side Note: I do not care for the replenishing mists (have SAM and TT), maybe I use those incorrectly..
