Laura Geller Balance n Brighten problem

I can't get anything on my brush and i have a lot of product left. Is is possible that a film has formed over it or it has dried out preventing me from picking up product. it hasn't broken so it can't be that dry if that's the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you.
