She is a very professional vendor. Last night she was put in an awkward position of correcting the host and basically needing to tell her to cease. After that, I turned the channel as the host continued to be manic.

Totally agree! I was so annoyed I almost started a thread. So Laura Geller has been a celebrated makeup artist forever and yet that clown host is telling her how to do and what to do. And a couple of times host had a bit of a dismissive attitude along with it.

I've been pretty neutral about her over the years but it's becoming impossible to watch this host especially when she's presenting beauty items. Enough!!!!!

I have always liked Shawn, but in the last year, something has really changed. I used to chalk up losing her dad, her mom's health, having a parent live in your home, a young child, etc, for giving her grace, but this is a major change.

Loving Laura Geller, I watched at midnight and again in the 6 to 8 pm slot. Shawn was extremely rude to Laura. She would cut her off mid sentence, ask questions all the while she is applying the makeup, and then cut of when Laura tried to answer with a curt, "yea, yea".

It was hard to watch and I felt for Laura. She is a true lady and put up with it in a stellar fashion.

Years ago, I remember Laura saying to Shawn during one of her shows, "you should let me make over your make up sometime." That was one time Shawn was at a loss for words.

Personally, I think Shawn harbors an inner sadness from loss in her life. I am not talking about her dad. This is MO, but if that is it, she should talk to someone about this.

Shawn also takes care of her aging, ill mother, I think she may be in a nursing home or in her home with caregivers. She often speaks of her Mom's nurses and aids.

@Goldengate8361 Laura has lost A LOT OF WEIGHT! She looks simply marvelous!

I recall a few years ago, her business had a few reverses.

Since then, she has rebounded on many levels and seems to be "in her prime."

I have used Laura's makeup items for many years and they are all excellent!

Thought the evening show was fine. What I saw was a fun, relaxed show. The host trying to ask questions she thought the viewers may want asked. The host's makeup is always heavy and over the top but I'm sure Laura knows that - after all she is standing right next to her - nothing will ever change that. I saw a host enthusiatic about sharing her tip for how to apply the foundation that she obviously loves. Did she apply it to heavily, oh yes indeed, but that is who the host is and will always be. I certainly would rather have this host than the other unwatchable one.
