I have over 100 points at Sephora and one of the October rewards offered is Laneige water sleeping mask with squalane. I've been looking for a night moisturizer and this one is given many good reviews. I know the Laneige lip balms are popular with some posters: has anyone tried a Laneige sleeping mask?

The video shows this as a gel cream, which looks hydrating, but not heavy.

It's an Amazon Overall Pick with a 4.7 overall rating and 2,523 ratings, so you may want to look at the reviews there if you don't get an answer.

My take, I read somewhere not to spend my money on products that are mostly water (as this appears to be), because there are so many products that are hydrating AND provide other benefits.

But if hydration is what you need, based on the stats, this seems to be a good choice.

Beauty tip from an elderly aunt who baked herself to a crisp in the South Florida sun:          CLEAR Aloe Vera gel

Of course, she had a 100 year old aloe plant in her yard, and whacked off a fresh chunk every day with a machete....

Yes, I got this and the lip mask on an overseas flight in 2019.  I'd never heard of the brand back then, but the stewardess raved about the products.  I loved them both enough to buy them when I ran out of my small samples.  I have given the lip mask as Xmas gifts.  The sleeping mask I have is in the blue container and it is very light almost watery.  I saw that they were giving those on Sephora and would have used my points for them if I was out.

@teganslaw  I bought a jar of this last year without sampling it because I liked the lip mask. It's decidedly meh. I tried it over other products and by itself. My skin runs super dry in the winter, and while it feels nice when applied (cool, hydrating), I don't think it increases the moisture in my skin. I do better with an oil to seal everything in (or Aquafore) than a watery cream. If you've tried Clinique's water cream, it's the same consistency and less effective.

I do this too.  I have very dry skin.  If my moisturizer is absorbed before I go to bed, I put oil on top.  I prefer Argan, and think Josie's is the best.

I'll probably pass on the Laneige sleeping mask and use my reward points for something else. Sephora sale is coming up in a few weeks, so will buy some items and decide about my rewards at that time.

I appreciate all the responses.
