I appreciated Lisa providing "the look for less" on QVC.

I certainly can't afford to go straight to the designers for ANYTHING. Good for you if you can afford to shop at Prada, Chloe, or whoever else is the mastermind for fashion.

Who cares if Lisa copied other designs? I'm sure all the fashions from brick and mortar stores like Kohls,Target, Walmart, etc all copied from other designers. I wonder if people go to Kohls.com and gripe that a jacket was already seen by "fill any mastermind designer here" and Kohls is being a "copycat" and the fashions are not original. My goodness it's not a new thing.

I craft for a hobby and I definitely go to Pinterest, Youtube, and Google to get inspiration. I guarantee you those who receive my handmade cards are not griping that I got the idea from someone else. Good grief!

I am not a fan of LR, but watching how this all played out, I am really doubtful that she left voluntarily. Why would she? She had a perfect life, she was the Queen of QVC. She had her hands into everything. But I think the straw that broke the camel's back was the GILI line. Copying the top designer houses down to the last detail does not show someone of good character. I cannot imagine anyone being deliberately so unethical and dishonest. And even worse she was so vocal about what she had done, even proud. And after all of that there were problems with quality throughout the line.

I don't think she has anything lined up and it will be interesting to see if anyone is interested in her. Her mouth is her worst enemy. She should humble herself and act her age. Life at QVC will be much better without her and who knows, maybe they will get some new lines for everyone.

Huh? GILI was and is QVC's line and every item produced undoubtedly had to be approved by QVC's 'corporate'... In the same way you don't see why she would walk away from her theoretically great job, why would QVC opt to kill the goose laying the golden egg? Nope, my guess is that changes are afoot that didn't sit well with her and she opted not to renew her possibly restructured contract. Besides, no matter how great the perks, after twenty years, anything gets old, especially when it almost always included late evenings and weekends.

Life at QVC might or might not be much better without her, but I'm one viewer who finds that trying to watch QVC with her was challenging enough. Without her is even more of a challenge... Each to their own.

And I don't see why people talk about Lisa not being humble. She had insecurities about her thighs, her skin, her hair and voiced it all on air. I never heard Lisa bragging about herself and watched her for 20 years. It's so crazy how different people have different perceptions of a person.

I miss Lisa very much, and never found her to be a bragger. You can find other Q hosts who fill that void. I think we will see Lisa very soon, and I think she will represent the Joan Rivers line. Just a feeling, but it is a strong one. I believe that Joan spoke to her about it as a matter of contingency planning. She knew that Melissa didn't want the job - she was on with Joan years ago and I sensed that she was not comfortable. I believe Melissa honored her mother's wishes and offered Lisa a position that she could not refuse! I hope I am right about this one; I think I am! And I for one look forward to seeing Lisa in a new role!

I've never been able to understand why people dislike Lisa. People that I know that barely watch QVC know 2 people. Usually one is Mary Beth and the other is Lisa.

My friend says she thinks Lisa does a good job, I agree with her.

Most people who dislike someone so much are usually just jealous of them.

Why would anyone waste so much energy on being hateful?

My trifecta of favorite hosts has always been Mary Beth, Lisa Robertson, and Lisa Mason! I like many of the other hosts, but these three ladies have always stood out for me for their professionalism, their knowledge, their presentation skills, and their wonderful uplifting personalities!

I am sure that whatever she does do, if it doesn't work out she will come back to the Q, it is much better to be a big fish in a little pond than the other way around...she will be back
