ANother former employee has an interesting story, I think her name is Trina Clark, she was a black model and got ill and retired early.

It is amazing how shallow she seems at times, money is tight, there are a lot of people out there on fixed incomes, and can not afford $500+ for a fake Christmas tree.
Yet the tribe worshipes her and they think everything she does is amazine, the old saying "there is a sucker born every mintute" seems very true.
I think her tribe needs a does of reality.

I check her Facebook page every month or so due to what I read here. She looks fantastic for a woman of 51 and she seems involved in life. I find the title "tribe" members, though, offensive, so I would never call myself one. My motto is live and let live. If some want to worship her it is absolutely none of my business and the need for some to put down her followers seems petty and small.
If I lived near her, I would attend. I like Lisa and would be interested in what she has to say about the good ole days at QVC.

The Tribe went nuts on those who commented on their displeasure of Made in China products. It's not exactly a healthy environment over there.
I read a few of those comments. LR responded to very few, and in one she wrote something like "I realize some people may be legitimately concerned with where products come from, but this just seems to be an outlet for unhappy people" or something very rude like that.
Another woman very nicely posted that she was hesitant to order anything new until her lantern problem was straightened out - when her item was received damaged, she contacted LR customer service; she received an auto-reply email saying she'd be contacted within 24 hours - and wasn't. LR replied to her, "If they said they're working on it, they're working on it." Yikes!

I agree with you comment that if people want to follower her and worship her than so be it. Not sure why people have to resort to calling them names. Why should anyone care what others want to do with their time and life? People here do that all the time if posters like certain brands they don't like for whatever reasons- call them suckers, idiots, cults, etc. I think those comments reflect on the type of person that is doing the name calling though.
with that said, I think the use of "tribe" to refer to your fans is a bit strange and perhaps a bit narcissistic?

I wonder if her tribe are all wealthy women because she seems to be selling a lot of things to that group...I hope that they love what they are buying and not just supporting her.

Tribe?? What do you mean?
She calls all her FB "friends" who chat and post regularly on her page her Tribe. They refer to themselves as her Tribe. She even sold jewelry that said "Tribe."
Her Tribe circles the wagons so to speak. Recently, there were issues with damaged goods in shipping. If anyone dared to bring it up on her FB page , the Tribe went on the attack. Those that didn't necessarily attack made it abundantly clear that the issue needs to be brought up with customer service ONLY and should not be brought up on Lisa's FB page. Those with the damaged goods were merely trying to resolve the issue and weren't in any way hyper-critical.The Tribe will not allow for any negativity or constructive criticism on FB.
Not that this matters and it's not like I was a huge fan anyhow but I lost a little respect for Lisa with that mess. I didn't order the lanterns and didn't even know there was any kind of issue with them. Someone I'm FB friends with commented on a post by Lisa where she was talking about how upset she was over some issue and so I saw the post on my feed.
I went to her page to see what was going on and she had posted thanking people for being so patient with this and she promised to make it right and how upset she was with this. Maybe I missed it but nowhere did I see an actual statement from her saying "Hey look. I know there are issues with these lanterns, I am doing what I can to make it right. We will get this worked out to the satisfaction of all involved. I understand the concern and I appreciate everyone's business. Please be respectful of EVERYONE here. This isn't a matter of people being rude and nasty to be rude and nasty. This is a matter of people trying to work out issues with defective merchandise they spent their money on."
Lisa is her business. It's not like QVC where you can go to their FB page and complain or Philosophy or IT Cosmetics. People are complaining on her page because it was a business matter and that's how you get things resolved.
One of the fastest ways I have found to get resolution to a problem is to hit the company on social media. I'm not saying be nasty but they don't want the negatives out there and generally work hard to fix the problem.
Thanks for summarizing what's been going on regarding the copper lanterns. I almost ordered them but changed my mind due to the price and style not being ideal for me. I've been wondering when Lisa would be selling the gold and black lanterns that she mentioned, because I love lanterns and want to see if I like either of them, but I can't find anything regarding a date on her busy FB page. I'm sorry to learn that it's turned into such a vicious place. That makes me want to navigate through the nonsense posts to find anything factual even less than before. Does anyone happen to know when they will be sold?

So am I understanding this correctly?? Some people bought their tickets for this tea event a couple of months ago when they went on sale but now the tickets are at a discounted price??? The event hasn't even happened yet. So the people who bought their tix ahead of time, are they now getting a price adjustment? This all seems so unfair to those who paid a higher price initially.
And for what it's worth, Lisa has talked about this tea event often on her FB page and live video chats and not once has she ever mentioned money goes to charity. And if that were true, you can bet she would be touting that. Nothing Lisa does ever seems to go to a good cause other than to line her own pockets. She has a subtle way of manipulating people and still manages to do it in a "loving, I'm your friend" kind of way.

I rarely go to her FB page. I do not understand the fascination with some of hosts' and Lisa R.'s facebook pages. It's creepy and strange.
That being said, I do like Lisa and I wish her well. BIG MISTAKE to leave QVC!!!
