I ordered LG's recent TSV and love the coverage of the foundation; however, the Tan is too dark even for my olive complexion. I esp liked that the foundation can be applied wet for extra coverage on areas that need it. Sadly, I'm going to have to return it because it didn't match my skin.
Ordered the Baked Elements foundation in Golden Medium on sale on the LG website + applied the code. Got a great deal.
Here's my question: will the Baked Elements foundation provide good coverage when wet? Sure hope so, otherwise I'm going to be stuck with it. Guess I could use it to set my liquid m/u.
Your comments, please. TIA

Anyone?

@pommom - Sorry, I can't help you. I haven't used it wet. However, I really do like it as a setting powder over a BB/CC cream so I think you'll still be able to use it one way or another.

Thanks, JeanLouiseFinch. Good to know it will be useful regardless.

@pommom I don't know where you heard that the Baked Elements Foundation could be used wet. I've been racking my brain, trying to remember if LG said that and I couldn't. All I could recall was to either use a brush or the sponge that's included. I went to the LG website and confirmed. Here are the instructions for applying the Baked Elements Foundation.
TO USE: For sheer coverage, sweep Baked Elements all over face with a Large Retractable Angled Kabuki Brush, targeting areas of discoloration. For fuller coverage, apply with the Sponge found in the bottom of the compact.

LG's foundation is new to me. I've never used her line so had no frame of reference either way as far as application is concerned. I was taking the TSV foundation's options thinking that it would apply to the others.
If the medium golden is too light or yellow on me, I'll see if my DD is interested. If not, I will donate it to an animal shelter who gathers donations for sale at their thrift shop. 100% of the proceeds go to their no-kill shelter/clinic.
In the end, it will benefit some way somehow and I will have learned a lesson.
Appreciate the time you took to research this issue and help me out.

Update: just heard back from c/s at the LG website.
According to them, I can use it wet or dry.
Eager to see how it works.

On LG's Instagram, they said that the baked elements is part of the "clearance" sale. Omg. I hope they're not discontinuing it. Perhaps the new powder in the TSV is slated to replace BE? I hope not! It's my most favorite foundation!
Oh man, I hope not, but is sure sounds like it. Doesn't it just figure? You land on something you like and they discontinue it. Ugh. I have quite a few Baked Elements compacts and wasn't planning to buy anymore on the current sale, but I think I just changed my mind.
